Susan P. Wheatlake Women's Cancer and Wellness Fund This dedicated endowment fund (of the MCMC Foundation) was established by a generous gift from Susan P. Wheatlake and supported by donations from concerned organizations and individuals in the community. Annual earnings from the fund are used for the delivery of cancer resource services to our community. Gifts can be made by calling: 231-592-4409 Goal: $2,000,000 by 2009 Financial Donations:  A compassinate legacy gift from your estate to support the Susan P. Wheatlake Cancer and Wellness Fund will help ensure that the compassionate support for people facing cancer will continue indefinitely. A gift from your estate may allow you to support the Wheatlake Fund while guaranteeing assuring continued support for your heirs. Please contact your financial advisor or call us at (231) 592-4409 for more information on how you can reach forward to comfort someone in need.While all gifts to the Wheatlake Fund go directly to our endowed investments, we recognize gifts of $1000 or more in a special way. Donors will be listed in our annual updates as Investors and will have the opportunity to appear in a press photo with Susan and invitations to our special events.. Donors of $5000 will receive the same benefits and be listed as "Angels" in our publications and will be invited to an annual gathering with Susan and fund committee members. A Gift of Yourself – Give us Your Time Join Us - Become a "Key Communicator" Key Communicators are a group that has agreed to receive and distribute information about the Wheatlake Fund and its activities. The group has grown to over 250, many of whom have become volunteers and lifelong friends of the Wheatlake Fund.
